Economy whipping you into shape

Today’s economy is scaring our society around the world, but is it fair to say it’s a bad scaring in all aspects? Many are losing their jobs, where they turn to afterwards could be detrimental or helpful. According to an article in the suntimes, the economy is going down but gym activity is not. Losing a job is a life changing experience, you either sink or rise. So, what will it be? Sit at home growing a beer belly, or joining the increasing number of unemployed Americans and flatten your belly. Work was once an excuse to miss the gym; will it now become the excuse to go to the gym? I’m not suggesting you go to the gym five days a week eight hours a day, but without a job and a mind racing with thoughts why not occupy your time at the same time as clearing your head. Ultimate Boxing and Fitness, a gym in Aventura, Florida provides a variety of work out techniques to keep not only your mind but also your heart racing. Have you ever thought about martial arts? Maybe someday you could karate chop those boss’s for firing you! Even imagining it could be a nice thought. A man named Richard Gill was used for the article, “Gill says he feels better than he used to and the exercise gives him a “mental release” from the stress of job hunting” said Stefano Esposito, suntimes staff reporter. Don’t use losing your job as a downfall use it as incentive. Gyms are taking advantage of their sudden rise in members by offering more classes and even going as far as cutting back prices for those losing their jobs.
