Florida. The exhibitor list ranged from Ultimate Boxing and Fitness gym to Coral Gables Acupuncture to Next Generation Waters. There were a variety of stands you could go to and receive information as well as free samples! I think it’s safe to say that a lot of the people there were there for the freebees, but I don’t blame them! Free massages and teeth whitening? Sign me up! The expo also provided a performance stage where gyms such as Ultimate Boxing and Fitness were able to show off their talents. Many of the people attending the expo dashed to get into the seats the watch the shows, including my friends and me! The team at UBF played up-beat music while performing boxing, kickboxing, and rope workouts. You are probably thinking, rope? Yes, rope! I was impressed the team even got the audience involved, clapping their hands and all. If channel 6 and channel 51 are getting their share of knowledge on fitness, so should you. Go to the gym, do kickboxing, drink fitness water, and get massages. It’s a tough world out there, if you can’t beat them, join them and make sure you’re tough enough to keep up.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/6689465757290140900-1669910144288798488?l=lakboxandfit.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>

Bad Energy Gone Good

While at Ultimate Boxing and Fitness I came into contact with a man named Rafael who told me an uplifting story about his son, David Malki. David started out at Cooper City high school, and saying he had a bad experience would be an understatement. With forty five detentions, getting into fights and grades between D’s and F’s in a matter of five months it wasn’t hard to infer that something was off beam. Whether Ultimate Boxing and Fitness came to him or he came to them it improved his well being. Now attending Pembook Pines, David is getting straight A’s and keeping himself out of trouble. He practices mixed martial arts in the cage at Ultimate Boxing and Fitness, which has taken away his urge to fight because like most growing men, David was not one to back down. Mixed martial arts have helped David to become more disciplined and to concentrate better on his school work. I and Rafael both feel that this change in direction of David’s life has something to do with his new membership and interest at Ultimate Boxing and Fitness. Taking out frustration in the gym has steered him away from taking it out outside of the gym. It takes a lot of courage and will to turn bad energy into good, in David’s case he came out on top.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/6689465757290140900-2357076323155358112?l=lakboxandfit.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>

Economy whipping you into shape

Today’s economy is scaring our society around the world, but is it fair to say it’s a bad scaring in all aspects? Many are losing their jobs, where they turn to afterwards could be detrimental or helpful. According to an article in the suntimes, the economy is going down but gym activity is not. Losing a job is a life changing experience, you either sink or rise. So, what will it be? Sit at home growing a beer belly, or joining the increasing number of unemployed Americans and flatten your belly. Work was once an excuse to miss the gym; will it now become the excuse to go to the gym? I’m not suggesting you go to the gym five days a week eight hours a day, but without a job and a mind racing with thoughts why not occupy your time at the same time as clearing your head. Ultimate Boxing and Fitness, a gym in Aventura, Florida provides a variety of work out techniques to keep not only your mind but also your heart racing. Have you ever thought about martial arts? Maybe someday you could karate chop those boss’s for firing you! Even imagining it could be a nice thought. A man named Richard Gill was used for the article, “Gill says he feels better than he used to and the exercise gives him a “mental release” from the stress of job hunting” said Stefano Esposito, suntimes staff reporter. Don’t use losing your job as a downfall use it as incentive. Gyms are taking advantage of their sudden rise in members by offering more classes and even going as far as cutting back prices for those losing their jobs.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/6689465757290140900-3608617445645914402?l=lakboxandfit.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>
